Lockdown Day 22 - Trick training

Matt is back to work today (upstairs!) so I'm back to feeling guilty about not working. It has been nice having a few days together and doing the sort of things we would have been doing anyway on Easter weekend (apart from an agility show which we were very sad about missing) The weather has been nice again today so we had a sunny walk at lunchtime and I have been doing some garden jobs and trick training this afternoon. Some old tricks, some new and some half finished 😁 Bru's biggest trick was learning to sit and wait while Brodie did some work with me...he surprised me and managed it! Excuse my pink crocs haha!!

All waiting to have their photo taken 💜💚💙💛

And the moment they are released...look at the boys tongues!!

Bean and Bru checking on our courgettes and runner beans that we put out to sunbathe!

Had a tidy up in the dog room while the plants were outside, its still a bit of a mess but we are really pleased with our tomato planter!

Lockdown Day 21 - Three weeks done

So tonight marks three weeks since the Lockdown started. No news saying it will be lifted so assuming that we will have several weeks of it yet before they start to ease the restrictions. I saw this on facebook and am going to post it here as a record of what is going on but also the message at the end is so true...we shouldn't take normality for granted, there is so much I should appreciate more on a daily basis. Plus I have realised what I currently have and how important it is...health, Matthew, family, friends and of course our goofy doglets 💕

On a more positive note we have been sorting out a vegetable bed, catching up with family and doing some jump work with the dogs. As a result they have slept well all evening!!!

I haven't edited videos yet but here is Brooke Bean practising a 'flind' I made Matt handle it as they make me dizzy!!

Lockdown Day 20 - Bathing!

It was such a lovely sunny morming that we decided to try and get out for a morning walk before it got too busy. So many people are out walking at the moment due to restrictions, way more than normal!

The doglets had a good race around and avoided any other walkers (apart from one old lady and a bunch of cyclists)

It was about 22 degrees so definitely shorts weather today! 🌞🌞🌞

Rare to get all four still in one photo!!

After our walk we decided to tackle some bathing as they were all a bit grubby! Toad went first

Spark was last, she gets washed a lot though as she loves rolling in fox 💩

We also decided to wash all of their beds today which messed up my plans to do some jump work but I managed to fit hoopers round the washing line and give Toad a little run round!

Lockdown Day 19 - Toilet rolls

When the Coronavirus first started spreading in Britain and we heard about other countries making people stay at home there was mass toilet roll panic buying and many shops sold out. It has spawned a few toilet roll videos on Facebook and Brooke and Bru's breeder thought we should all do one 😂 I can't copy the whole thing which is hilarious but here is one our outtakes!

My first tulip has made an appearance!

The 'helpers' ready to help with the table painting! Not a very exciting post today as it seems to have taken most of the day painting the table!

The shelties were too helpful so they got banished!!

Spark was too hot to be helpful but did like lying in the shade of the table

Job done eventually!! Seemed to take forever but we had a cuppa to celebrate and a game of Molkky!

Lockdown Day 18 - Scrubbing!

We got our official letter from the Prime Minister today about staying at home to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. The death toll in hospitals in the UK today is 980, its a hard thing to imagine that even two months ago we had no cases here in Britain and were carrying on life as normal.

As its Good Friday Matt wasn't working today so we tackled more scrubbing of our patio table ready for painting it. We had all of our helpers with us but Brodie was obsessed with helping the most...he loves any water and tries to grab it!

Three of the doglets watching Bru rolling around in the grass!

A quick break for a cuppa...even Bean is panting as it is so hot!!

We didn't do any training in the garden again today but we did do a nice long walk on a new footpath. Hardly saw anyone and the doglets could have a good stretch of legs...and a good sniff!!

The oil seed rape is coming out already!

As I've done no training the last couple of days, here is a one jump video that me and Spark did for my agility group...two weeks ago I was in a bobble hat!! 😂 Its a bit long but it has some small space ideas to practice including some sequences at the end.

Lockdown Day 17 - exploring!

Toady started with grooming the dogs and clipping nails (again!) It is only two weeks since I last did them so I guess its because they are walking less than usual? It was beautiful and sunny today so I was out in the garden in shorts scrubbing our patio table so we can paint it over the weekend.

The dogs enjoyed some shade or sun bathing!

The veg in our mini greenhouse is shooting up! So exciting seeing it grow 😁

Spark got to finish Matts Kefir pot...happy days!!

I took Spark for a solo walk this afternoon, we were out for an hour and a half and it was lovely! Matt is currently out with Bru for a long walk by himself...it does them good to go by themselves.

We explored some new footpaths over the local golf course, it was empty and very pretty!

And we loved these flowers on the way home!

Toad and Bean went round the block with me when I got back as they had a long walk yesterday (and both stiffen up if they go to far!)

They are the cutest couple! 💘

Lockdown Day 16

I will put this on here as it is in my head constantly today! I heard it on the radio a few days ago and its stupidly catchy! 😂

I have had another not terribly productive day and am starting to come to terms with the fact that it is ok ok not to be doing something useful all the time. I still feel guilty about Matt working away upstairs but have Easter weekend to look forward to with him. The doglets had a lovely walk this morning but unfortunately I forgot to take my phone so no pics! They have had a bit of a rest today on the training front except for Toad who got to do some hoopers practice. He is great at driving round a circle of hoops now with me fairly still but struggles if I step outside the circle so thats what I was working on. The cone in the video is to stop me cheating as I find I move loads!! He needed me to break it down and reward more on my left but he got there 💙

Someone is enjoying her lazy morning! 💜

Actually got round to doing some colouring, it is very relaxing!

And having played the Wii minus Matthew today I actually got 5 strikes in a row at bowling!! I'm only putting this pic on here Matt wouldn't believe me and I am quite impressed with myself haha!!
